Netflix Is Letting Users Play Games On Their TV Screens Netflix is letting users play games on their TV screens — a major step in its gaming expansion strategy. Starting this week, subscribers can now enjoy interactive titles directly on their smart TVs, using their phones as controllers. This long-awaited feature signals Netflix’s push to go beyond streaming and become a true entertainment hub. Netflix began exploring games in early 2023 and even launched a mobile controller app for iOS later that year. Until now, however, gaming on TV screens had remained just a promise.
