Apple Opens Two New Stores in India Before iPhone 17 Launch

Two Apple Stores Open in India This Week Ahead of iPhone 17 Launch

Apple is making a big retail push in India as two Apple Stores open in India this week ahead of iPhone 17 launch. The company unveiled its fourth retail location in the country, Apple Koregaon Park in Pune, which will open on Thursday, September 4, at 1 p.m. local time. This marks Apple’s second new store in India within just one week, following the debut of Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru.

Apple Koregaon Park: Pune’s First Apple Store

Apple Koregaon Park is Apple’s very first store in Pune. The store has a familiar design that mirrors Apple Hebbal, with a combined Genius Bar and Apple Pickup area. This two-in-one service counter has been gradually rolling out across Apple Stores worldwide, including in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and China.

The new store will be staffed by 68 employees representing 11 Indian states, offering multilingual support and a personalized shopping experience. Customers can also join free Today at Apple sessions, designed to inspire creativity, photography, music, and coding skills.

Expanding Apple’s Presence in India

Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru and Apple Koregaon Park in Pune are part of Apple’s larger strategy to strengthen its retail footprint in India—a key growth market ahead of the highly anticipated iPhone 17 launch. With these two new locations, Indian customers gain better access to Apple’s ecosystem, expert support, and hands-on product experiences.

Why This Matters Ahead of the iPhone 17 Launch

The timing of these store openings is no coincidence. As the iPhone 17 launch approaches, Apple is ensuring it can serve the growing demand in India, one of the world’s fastest-growing smartphone markets. The expanded retail presence is expected to boost Apple’s brand visibility, sales, and customer loyalty in the region.
