Framer Hits $2B Valuation: No-Code Website Builder Soars

No-code website builder Framer reaches $2B valuation after new funding

No-code website builder Framer reaches $2B valuation after securing a $100 million Series D funding round led by Meritech and Atomico. With over half a million monthly active users, the Amsterdam-based startup has officially doubled its unicorn status, cementing its position among the fastest-growing no-code platforms in 2025.

Framer joins the no-code boom

This milestone comes amid a wave of excitement in the website builder space. Rivals like Figma, Squarespace, and Wix continue to expand, while newer platforms such as Cursor and Lovable are redefining “vibe coding.” Framer’s rise highlights how the demand for easy-to-use, flexible website tools is only accelerating.

Back in 2023, the company raised $27 million in its Series C. Now, with its $2 billion valuation, Framer is shifting focus toward enterprise adoption and AI-powered solutions.

From landing pages to full-scale websites

Unlike traditional builders that rely on static templates, Framer allows teams to create dynamic websites they can update in real time—without developer help. The platform recently rolled out built-in analytics and enterprise-grade security, designed to help companies confidently “run their entire .com” within Framer.

Co-founder and CEO Koen Bok emphasized that the funding will fuel this transition: “With this funding, we’re doubling down on enterprise growth and AI, so any company can confidently run their entire website on Framer.”

A design-first approach

Framer, founded in Amsterdam by Koen Bok and Jorn van Dijk—who previously sold their design studio to Facebook—brands itself as “the website builder loved by designers.” Its promise: sites built on Framer stand out with a modern, custom look while remaining easy to maintain.

Enterprise growth takes center stage

Since introducing business plans in late 2024, Framer says enterprises now make up the majority of its new customers. These organizations see the value in a no-code platform that balances speed, creativity, and scalability. With its latest funding and AI integrations, Framer is well-positioned to compete with industry giants while continuing to appeal to design-driven teams.
