Threads Hidden Words Feature Now Works Separately from Instagram Threads, Meta’s fast-growing alternative to X (formerly Twitter), is rolling out a major update that answers one of the most common questions from users: Can I filter content separately from Instagram? Yes, you now can. The Threads Hidden Words feature has officially been decoupled from Instagram, allowing for a fully independent experience. This new setting empowers you to filter out specific words, emojis, or phrases from your Threads feed, search, profile, and replies—without affecting how Instagram works for you.
