PlayStation Plus Members to Receive Five-Day Extension Following Global Outage

The PlayStation Network (PSN), the online service for PlayStation consoles, experienced a widespread outage lasting nearly a full day, leaving countless gamers unable to access their digital libraries, connect with friends, or enjoy online multiplayer. The disruption, which spanned from Friday evening to Saturday evening in the United States, sparked frustration and concern among PlayStation users. In response, Sony has announced that PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) members will receive a five-day extension to their subscriptions as compensation for the inconvenience.
