Google Play Books on iOS Gets a (Slightly) Easier Path to eBook Purchases
For years, iOS users have enjoyed the convenience of accessing their Google Play Books library through the dedicated app. They could browse their collection, read ebooks, and listen to audiobooks purchased elsewhere. However, a significant limitation existed: purchasing new content directly within the iOS app was impossible due to Apple's App Store policies regarding in-app purchases and commissions.
