WhatsApp Replaces Settings Icon With New Profile Tab

WhatsApp's New "You" Tab: What It Really Means for Your Account If you opened WhatsApp today and noticed your Settings gear icon has vanished, you are not imagining things. WhatsApp has begun rolling out a redesigned tab bar on iOS that replaces the familiar gear icon with a new "You" tab displaying your own profile photo. The update arrives with version 26.10.73, now live on the App Store. The change looks small. The implications are anything but.
