T-Mobile Won't Offer Free Apple TV: What’s Changing?
T-Mobile won't offer free Apple TV anymore, ending the popular “Apple TV On Us” promotion that’s been running since 2021. Starting January 1, 2026, subscribers will need to pay $3 per month to access Apple TV, even on higher-tier plans like Magenta Plus, Experience More, and Go5G Plus. This change comes after Apple increased its streaming service price from $9.99 to $12.99 per month, meaning T-Mobile will only provide a $9.99 discount.

The shift reflects rising costs and changing carrier strategies. Apple raised its subscription fees, making full coverage financially challenging for T-Mobile. Additionally, other carriers, like Verizon, have also stopped offering free perks such as Apple Arcade, favoring discounted streaming bundles instead. This signals a broader trend of telecom providers scaling back freebies while keeping subscription options affordable.
How Much Will T-Mobile Subscribers Pay for Apple TV Now?
Subscribers on eligible T-Mobile plans can still enjoy Apple TV, but it comes with a $3 monthly fee starting January 2026. This makes Apple TV access more affordable than the standard $12.99 per month, but it’s no longer entirely free. Customers will need to update their payment method in the T-Mobile app to continue streaming without interruption.
