What is Board and How Does It Work?

Board is a connected screen gaming device designed for shared play. The device recognizes touch, gestures, and physical game pieces, creating a hybrid experience between classic tabletop games and modern digital gaming. Its wood-finish 24-inch frame allows four to six players to interact naturally, making game nights more immersive.

What Games and Features Does Board Offer?

At launch, Board comes with 12 built-in games and 50 physical game pieces. Putnam plans to integrate AI features to customize gameplay over time, adapting challenges and experiences to each player. This approach mirrors Mirror’s original philosophy of blending technology with real-life engagement.

Why Mirror’s Founder Chose Gaming for Her Next Startup

Putnam explained that Board taps into shared experiences, social interaction, and digital innovation. By combining a connected screen with tangible game elements, she aims to create a new form of interactive entertainment that appeals to families and gaming enthusiasts alike.
