Roblox Moments Brings Short-Form Video And New AI Tools For Creators

Roblox has officially introduced Roblox Moments, a new short-form video feed designed for sharing gameplay highlights, alongside powerful AI tools and creator earnings updates. This feature is launching in beta for users 13 and older, and it allows players to capture, edit, and share clips of their gameplay in a scrollable feed. With options to trim videos, add music, and write descriptions, Roblox Moments makes it easier than ever for players to showcase their favorite gaming experiences while connecting with the community.

Roblox Moments Transforms Gameplay Sharing

The new Roblox Moments feed works much like popular short-form video platforms, letting users scroll through clips from the community, react with emojis, and even jump straight into a game from a video. Players can share clips of up to 30 seconds, making it simple to highlight achievements, funny moments, or exciting gameplay. Roblox is gradually rolling out the feature to refine moderation and ensure that all shared content is safe and age-appropriate. Users can also report inappropriate clips, giving the community more control over content standards.

AI Tools To Empower Roblox Creators

In addition to Roblox Moments, new AI-driven tools are being released to help creators design and manage experiences more efficiently. Later this year, Roblox plans to expand API-based capabilities, giving developers the freedom to integrate gameplay highlights, trending clips, and even custom leaderboards into their creations. This shift not only streamlines development but also boosts player engagement, helping creators showcase the most exciting aspects of their games in new and dynamic ways.

Increased Earnings For Roblox Developers

To further support the creator economy, Roblox is increasing its Developer Exchange (DevEx) rate. This adjustment means creators will now earn 8.5% more when converting Robux into real money. For example, 100,000 Robux will now equal $380 instead of $350. This boost underscores Roblox’s commitment to ensuring developers are fairly rewarded for their contributions and creativity, encouraging more people to pursue game development on the platform.
