Three core developers from the NotebookLM team—Raiza Martin, Jason Spielman, and Stephen Hughes—left Google in late 2024 to build something new. Huxe is already catching attention. The startup recently announced a $4.6 million funding round led by Conviction, Genius Ventures, and angel investors like Figma CEO Dylan Field and Google Research’s chief scientist, Jeff Dean.
Originally launched in June 2025 as invite-only, the app is now rolling out publicly on iOS and Android, opening up access to a wider audience.
