Apple confirms iPhone 17 Air will be eSIM only worldwide Apple has officially announced that the iPhone 17 Air will be eSIM only worldwide , making it the first iPhone to completely abandon physical SIM cards across every market. The move was unveiled at Apple’s annual September event, where the ultra-thin device was the star of the show.
