Google Keep for Android Rolls Out Redesigned Quick Capture Widget
I’ve been using Google Keep for Android for a while now, and I’m always keen to see new updates. Recently, I noticed that Google Keep is rolling out a redesigned Quick Capture widget, which looks significantly different and enhances the overall user experience. Image:Google New Look: The Redesign Details One of the most noticeable changes in the widget design is how the background now extends to fill the entire grid. Previously, only the ‘plus’ button sat inside a rounded square container, but now everything is housed within new shapes. For example, the ‘plus’ icon is now displayed inside a vertical pill shape, while the other four icons (Next Text Note, List, Audio, and Drawing) are in rounded rectangles. Widget Configuration Changes Google Keep’s Quick Capture widget has also received a configuration update. The 4×1 configuration now includes the text note, list, audio, and drawing shortcuts.
