OpenAI’s ChatGPT continues to lead the AI chatbot space with an astonishing 500 million weekly active users. However, new data suggests that its competitors are rapidly gaining ground. Analytics firms Similarweb and Sensor Tower have reported increased adoption rates for chatbots like Google’s Gemini, Microsoft’s Copilot, and Elon Musk’s Grok.
