Within Samsung’s Good Lock modules, LockStar is a popular addition to Galaxy devices. While the app has historically allowed users to change how notifications appear on the lock screen, LockStar loses that ability in One UI 7. This isn’t a matter of broken functionality; Samsung apparently just doesn’t want to support it. For users that want something a littler more robust, Samsung suggests downloading LockStar. It comes as a part of Samsung’s Good Lock app suite through the Galaxy Store. In essence, those modules allow users to take more control over their lock screen. A big part of LockStar customization was custom notifications.
