Android Spring 2025: Find My Device People Sharing, Android Auto Games, Scam Detection

Alongside the Pixel (Feature) Drop today, Google is announcing the latest Android features for Spring/March 2025, with Find My Device ‘People’ sharing and Android Auto games leading the way. Image : Google To date, Find My Device has just been for phones, tablets, watches, headphones, and trackers. The Android app is now getting a “People” tab, which is currently in beta. That new section prominently “shows you where your friends are in a map view.” The sheet below that is a list of people, their location, and proximity with filters for “Sharing with you” and “You’re sharing with” up top. Tap the map FAB (floating action button) to share your real-time location. A card provides a preview of what you’ll be sending with the ability to quickly set a duration.
