Sony Japan has announced the end of production for recordable Blu-ray discs, MiniDiscs, MD-Data, and MiniDV cassettes, marking a significant shift in the landscape of physical media. Sony Storage Media Solutions has officially declared the end of an era by ceasing production of recordable Blu-rays.
