US House Committee Calls Discord, Twitch, Reddit CEOs to Testify on Online Radicalization US House committee summons CEOs of Discord, Twitch, Reddit to testify on online radicalization and the growing risks tied to digital platforms. The Oversight Committee has scheduled the hearing for October 8, 2025 , focusing on how these platforms may have contributed to political extremism and incitement of violence. James Comer cited recent politically motivated acts, including the murder of Charlie Kirk, as a key reason for the summons.
