Ultra-Thin Titanium Build

The iPhone Air measures just 5.6mm thick, making it the thinnest iPhone ever created. Built with a polished titanium frame and Ceramic Shield 2 on both sides, it’s designed to be Apple’s most durable iPhone yet. A new plateau stretches across the back, housing the rear camera, front camera, speaker, and Apple Silicon.

Brilliant Display With ProMotion

Apple equipped the iPhone Air with a 6.5-inch OLED ProMotion display. It delivers up to 3,000 nits of peak outdoor brightness, the highest on any iPhone so far. A 7-layer antireflective coating helps reduce glare, making it easier to read in direct sunlight.

Smarter Cameras for Everyday Use

The iPhone Air features a single 48MP rear fusion camera with both 1x and 2x modes. On the front, an 18MP camera includes AI-powered Center Stage, which automatically adjusts the frame depending on the number of people in view. Thanks to a square sensor, users can capture four different composition sizes without rotating their phone.

Apple also introduced dual-capture video, letting the front camera stabilize your frame while the rear camera zooms in for added flexibility.

Powered by the A19 Pro Chip

At its core, the iPhone Air runs on Apple’s new A19 Pro chip, with a six-core CPU and a next-gen GPU. The GPU brings second-generation Dynamic Caching, doubled math rates, and unified image compression for faster, smoother performance across apps and games.

Faster Connectivity and eSIM Only

The iPhone Air debuts with Apple’s custom C1X modem, offering double the speed of its predecessor. A newly designed N1 chip also integrates Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, and Thread connectivity. Apple confirmed that this model is eSIM only, marking the next step in its transition away from physical SIM cards.

Positioned Between iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro

The iPhone Air replaces the “Plus” model in Apple’s lineup. It sits above the standard iPhone 17 and just below the iPhone 17 Pro, giving buyers a premium yet slightly more affordable option in 2025.
